The Fonze Does Science: Making Fluorescent Proteins

Isac Enriquez is a good friend and an amazing artist with a vision that combines art with science. Isac has worked with florescent proteins to create a print of his drawings in agar and, eventually, on a much larger scale. Bio-Art. I was able to tag along to photograph, and even participate in the beginning process of making these fluorescent proteins. Here is what the end product looks like. Science really is fun kids!
